Vault Spray Foam

  • Who is Vault Spray Foam and what do you stand for?

Vault Spray Foam is a family-oriented small business owned by Taylor Tressillian, based in Hoover, AL. We provide services to Birmingham and its surrounding areas. Our team operates like a close-knit family, emphasizing support and care for one another. We prioritize treating our clients as if they were part of our own family, offering personal guarantees on all our work and using high-quality products for both residential and commercial projects. Our goal is to build such a strong relationship with our clients that by the project's end, they consider us part of their family—though we won't be claiming any Thanksgiving dinner rolls!
  • What types of services do you offer?

At Vault Spray Foam, we specialize in various types of spray insulation. Our services include comprehensive home energy screenings and audits to detect air leaks and assess thermal control. We employ advanced infrared technology to identify temperature variations throughout buildings, helping us determine if a property is suitable for spray foam insulation.
  • What's the difference between open cell and closed cell spray foam?

We offer two main types of spray foam: open cell and closed cell. Open cell foam is commonly used in Alabama for existing attics and new construction projects. We typically apply it in 4-6 inch layers, effectively sealing gaps and cracks while providing excellent sound attenuation. Closed cell foam is primarily used in metal structures such as commercial buildings, warehouses, pole barns, and barndominiums as well as for concrete surfaces like basement walls. Its key feature is its waterproofing capability, providing a true vapor barrier with just 1.5 inches of application. Closed cell foam is more durable and offers a higher R-value of 7 per inch.
  • How much does spray foam insulation cost?

Spray foam insulation is more affordable than many people expect. While it's true that it costs more than traditional insulation methods, the return on investment is significant. Studies indicate that most homeowners recover the cost of their spray foam installation within two to four years, primarily through energy savings. This assumes the foam is correctly installed. Additional benefits of spray foam further enhance its value. With our financing options and a $1,200 federal tax credit available for spray foam insulation in primary residences, it's an accessible way to start maximizing savings for your household.
  • What types of payments do you accept?

We offer a variety of payment options for your convenience upon project completion. These include cash, check, ACH electronic transfers from your checking account, and credit or debit cards. Our most popular options are financing plans that allow you to start your project when you need it most. One option is Alabama Power's SMART financing, which lets you include the full cost of your insulation project in your monthly power bills. Another is Wisetack, offering 0% interest financing for the entire project cost over six to 48 months. These financing options enable you to begin your insulation project with minimal upfront costs and start benefiting from energy savings sooner.
  • Do you have a referral program?

We greatly appreciate our clients and have established a referral program to thank you for recommending us to your friends. We understand the value of your time when you recommend our services to others. As a token of our appreciation, we currently offer a $100 Visa gift card when you refer a friend who receives a $250 credit toward their spray foam project with Vault Spray Foam. If you're satisfied with how we've improved your home's energy efficiency and reduced your bills, we encourage you to share your experience with your community.
